If after reading my personal account of the results I have achieved with aloe you wish to start using aloe vera, the links on this page will lead you to a variety of products I have made available for visitors to view and/or purchase.

Due to the relief I have experienced as a result of drinking aloe vera daily, I investigated and found even more interesting information about this amazing plant’s healing and soothing properties.

I will not bore you with all the scientific details here, as there are other sites, where more comprehensive explanations can be accessed, should anyone wish to investigate further.

Also note that I’m not a doctor and I cannot give you any medical advice. My primary goal here is to inform you how aloe vera can be used to improve your health.

In simple terms, aloe vera contains a host of elements, including important enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

Because all of these elements are important to the promotion of good health within the body, consuming aloe vera can be very useful in helping to combat a wide variety of diseases and ailments.

Aloe Vera and the Immune System

A large percentage of the population today live highly stressful working lives. Most of us have a very poor diet as well as very bad eating habits. All these issues combine to run down our immune systems, leaving us open to every passing infection and illness.

Using Aloe Vera Internally on a Regular Basis Boosts the Body’s Immune System

The Construct of the Human Immune System

Here is a list of the individual elements that make up the immune system of the human body:

  1. Tonsils
  2. Cervical lymph node
  3. Entrance of thoracic duct into subclavian vein
  4. Thymus gland
  5. Mammary plexus
  6. Spleen
  7. Intestinal lymph nodes
  8. Peyer's  patches on intestinal wall
  9. Appendix
  10. Inguinal lymph nodes
  11. Bone marrow

The immune system, is like the body’s private army, so to speak. When the body comes under attack from any foreign invaders the immune system kicks in and puts up a fight against whatever disease or illness maybe threatening.

Having a strong immune system is, therefore of paramount importance, in maintaining optimum good health within the body.

Aloe Vera and Digestion

Using aloe vera internally has also proved beneficial in assisting the digestive process, especially, in cases where people rush around and eat on the run, as this can cause stomach distress, which in turn, can cause indigestion and discomfort.

Aloe vera and digestion go hand in hand for me, because of the relief that it provides for my painful digestive problems.

However, I am not alone, as my Mother also benefited from using aloe vera to help relieve her symptoms of acid reflux caused by an hiatus hernia. In both of our cases, if we ever ate anything that upset our digestive systems, we would experience many hours of pain and discomfort.

For the benefit of those of you who may not be aware of it, the digestive tract absorbs all the nutrients from the meals or food that we eat and then dispenses with the waste products.

In order to break down food and aid digestion, the tract is full of bacteria. Once the food has been broken down, the nutrients are absorbed and the toxins are then dispensed with.

If, however, these toxins are not all eliminated, they maybe absorbed into the blood, resulting in a variety of unhealthy conditions, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Using Aloe Vera Internally Can Eliminate Digestive Disorders and Discomfort

It is worthwhile noting that aloe contains anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties, it also has the potential to soothe irritations of the digestive tract, such as ulcers, colitis and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. The juice also actively encourages the release of pepsin, which is a gastric enzyme, necessary for the digestive process.

To ensure a healthy and happy digestive system, I try to maintain a diet containing lots of fresh organic vegetables and salad as well as a regular daily intake of aloe vera juice.

I also use a vegetable protein based, meal replacement preparation twice a day, which, provides all the daily recommended doses of minerals, vitamins and trace elements the body needs in order to function optimally.  As a result, I know that my body receives the best possible nutrition every day.

Since changing to this healthy eating lifestyle and daily use of the aloe drink not only have I experienced increased levels of energy, but the symptoms of my painful digestive disorder have all but disappeared. So yes, use of this plant has really improved my health.

The added bonus, is that I have dropped 3 dress sizes and I no longer have to worry about counting calories or weighing and measuring my food.  Liberation at last!!

Recent research has also indicated that regular consumption of aloe vera juice can and does improve the symptoms of many complaints, including irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes, heart burn, colitis, and ulcers to name a few. The magical plant also has the ability to stimulate the immune system into attacking cancerous cells.

Aloe Vera for Acid Reflux Treatment

Using aloe vera for acid reflux treatment is a completely reliable and natural way of relieving the discomfort suffered as a result of this problem.  Aloe contains anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and analgesic properties.  Aloe juice as already mentioned, actively encourages the release of pepsin, the gastric enzyme, necessary for the digestive process.

Taking a spoonful of aloe after meals will help to eliminate the unpleasant symptoms of acid reflux.  Being careful of what you eat will of course also assist in achieving control over this problem, for example avoid fried foods.

It should also be noted that Aloe contains important nutrients and molecules including mineral salts, vitamins, amino acids organic acids, lipids and enzymes that are beneficial for the preservation of good health, which is why drinking aloe vera for acid reflux works so well.

Present in fairly high concentrations within the aloe plant are a variety of polysaccharides, one of these in particular is acemannan which is absorbed into the blood and strengthens the body’s immune system thereby assisting in the elimination of toxins.

Reap the Health Benefits of Aloe Vera via Regular Consumption!

Of course in order to benefit from using aloe it is necessary to take it regularly, as you would any prescribed product.

It is also best if you use fresh aloe however, if you are unable to get hold of a plant then ensure that the product you use is a reputable one that provides you with information regarding its manufacturing process.

Usually the price of the product will indicate whether it will live up to its claims.  The cheaper the product the less likely it is to be reliable as great care has to be taken in the processing of the plant in order to maintain its potency.

As a result of my own digestive problems I would urge anyone to use aloe vera as it will not only eliminate the painful symptoms, but your overall health will benefit from the amazing range of nutrients this plant provides for us.

In conclusion I hope you have found this article about using aloe vera internally helpful.  However, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have a question.

I am not a medical professional so I always advise that before starting any program you should always consult your own health care provider to be sure that the product will be suitable for your needs/health.

Using aloe vera internally is a good practice for everyone!
