Raw Food Diet - Is it just another Fad or is there really some substance to its Claims?

Welcome to our raw food diet section of the Aloe Vera Guide. Recently I became interested in raw food nutrition as a result of the positive experiences I have had using aloe vera as well as a range of other herbal and alternative remedies; I suppose you could call it a natural progression from natural remedies to natural food.

However, although I had heard quite a lot about this method of eating, I did not know much about it so I decided to investigate the topic and would now like to take the opportunity to share a brief synopsis of my findings with any visitors who may be interested in this subject.

For a start, people who follow this diet eat a minimum of around 70% to 75% of their food uncooked; apparently, according to the guidelines of this diet, nothing consumed should be heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit, as doing so would result in the degradation of enzymes which are linked to the digestive as well as absorption processes. Natural foods such as fresh organic vegetables, nuts, seeds and fruits are of course also included within this eating regime.

Raw Food Diet - Downloadable Ebook

According to some recent studies, following a raw food diet can and does assist in reducing risks related to heart disease, lowers cholesterol levels, helps with diabetic problems, breast cancer and an assortment of chronic health problems and is even considered to be a good way of reducing body mass index ie, losing weight as well as assisting in the preservation of strong healthy bones.

In summary, it seems that by using raw food nutrition on a long term basis really will provide the individual with multiple health benefits and is therefore, not just a passing fad to be overlooked by anyone wanting to embark upon a more healthy lifestyle. I will have been introducing some of the concepts of this program into my healthy eating regime but intend to do further investigating on this subject so will update this page in due course.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to know more about the raw food diet why not visit our sponsor via the links at the top of this page as not only will you find a range of healthy raw food products there but also lots more valuable health related information in the form of articles and videos available for review at your convenience.
