A Personalized Weight Loss Plan Worked For Me
I was introduced to the concept of having my own personalized weight loss plan after failing at one diet program after another, for the best part of 15 years.
The regular use of aloe vera concentrate in my daily drinking water alleviated the pain and discomfort of the chronic stomach problem I had suffered from for many years, however, I still had the issue of being grossly overweight and out of shape, which made me feel extremely depressed.
The idea of a personalised weight loss plan appealed to me and as I felt I did not have anything to lose, except, the fat, I decided to try this approach.
What I actually received from my mentor, was in fact, an education in nutrition for which I am eternally grateful.
What I've learned since following my own personalized weight loss plan over the last couple of years has made an amazing difference to my weight as well as my general health, especially my digestive complaint. I continued to use the aloe vera concentrate but I also started on a whole new system of nutrition that has completely changed my life.
For instance, I learned that if I consumed the correct amount of protein for my body, I would feel less hungry. Surprise! surprise! when I followed this advice, to my delight, it worked like a dream.
After analysing my body fat percentage my mentor worked out that I should be taking in between 78 and 110 gms of protein per day.
She put me on a low calorie, high protein meal replacement formula twice a day, to replace two regular meals, then I was advised to eat a normal healthy meal once a day. I received a little booklet that contained various meal suggestions, to ensure that I consumed a nutritionally balanced main meal. Good carbohydrates are also essential to the body, so they should be included in any weight loss plan.
I did not have to follow this program for very long before the inches started disappearing, within the first two weeks, I had lost 13 inches overall, of ugly bodyfat. I never felt hungry, at first this really blew my mind, as even though it had been explained to me, secretly, I was not totally convinced.
After the first two enormously successful weeks on this personalized weight loss plan, I was hooked, excited and very motivated as I could see and feel the difference the program was having on me. The added bonus on this program, was the personal support and encouragement I received from my one to one sessions with my mentor.
Initially, she called me three times a week and answered any questions I may have had regarding the program. After having experienced what I call 'public humiliation' at slimming club weigh-ins, it was really great to be able to speak to a sympathetic and knowledgeable personal coach, who actively encouraged and supported me.

Protein is the basic make up of all living things. Human bodies are made up of 25% protein. Protein is made up of building blocks called amino acids. There are 9 essential amino acids needed by the human body for optimum function and several non-essential but beneficial amino acids.
A personalized weight loss plan, therefore, has to contain the right amount of protein for an individual body, if the plan is going to produce the desired results. The secret therefore, is to have a body fat analysis done, then work out how much protein you need to consume daily, in order to help control hunger and to give the metabolism a kick start.
Once your personalized weight loss plan has been established, it is veru easy to follow, which is why it has worked so well for me.
I still follow my personalized weight loss plan, as well as consuming the recommended daily water intake of about 6-8 glasses per day, all of which, are mixed with the aloe vera concentrate to aid my digestion.
Following a personalised weight loss plan has been very successful for me and I have no heistation in recommending it for anyone who is serious about getting back into shape.
