Recently, I found a range of herbal beauty products which I have been using as well as aloe vera skin and hair care preparations that I have mentioned elsewhere on this site.

Sadly as we get older our cells do not rejuvenate themselves as they did when we were in our twenties or even thirties. At a certain age, whether we like it or not, we have to start giving Mother Nature a bit of a helping hand.

Admittedly, during what I now refer to as my ‘fat years’, I pretty much lost all interest in myself.

However, since losing an incredible amount of fat and dropping 3 dress sizes, as a result of a drastic change in my eating habits, I have re-discovered the joy of clothes and of course, make-up.

I hope some of you out there will understand and sympathise, when I say that it was not without a little bit of horror, that one day, while surveying my face in the mirror, I suddenly realised the ravages of time had definitely left its stamp upon my face, by way of wrinkles and dull tired looking skin.

I seriously considered plastic surgery but to be honest, I have had so many necessary operations and experienced so much pain and discomfort, that this option only filled me with fear and trepidation.

I then considered botox, but the thought of being injected with what is basically a poison, did not hold much for me either.

It was at this stage, I considered the effects that I had received using aloe vera and herbal products to improve my health and to lose much unwanted body fat, when suddenly a light came on

I now have a complete range of skin care products, which includes a fantastic anti-aging cream.

One of the ingredients contained in this preparation, is glucosamine. Having used this cream regularly for over a month, the results are clearly visible, to the extent that close friends have noticed the difference and are now using it themselves.

Under my make-up, I use a gel-cream, which helps to improve the texture of my skin and minimises damage from external sources. This product contains antioxidant vitamin C which, when applied directly to the skin, creates a healthier and more radiant appearance.

This range of herbal beauty products is comprehensive.

There is an eye gel that on application, the effects are instantaneous. You can feel the area around the eye tightening up as the gel is absorbed. Face masks, exfoliators, cleansing and toning kits as well as a special night cream, which moisturises and refreshes the skin as you sleep.

Herbal beauty products have really improved my skin and are a good alternative to a face lift.

Of course, they do not replicate or produce the same exact effect, as I would expect from a face lift, however, I am very happy with the results they have effected and I think I can wait a few more years before contemplating the horrors of the knife!
