There are always good reasons for losing extra body fat, aside from dropping a dress or trouser size your health will improve as being overweight always puts an extra strain on your major organs which can of course have a negative impact upon your overall health and wellbeing.



As everyone knows the weight loss industry is a multi million dollar business and there are lots of different products available to anyone trying to lose weight. A natural product that we have been aware of for quite sometime but which seems to have faded into the background where weightloss is concerned is fibre. Did you know for instance that a healthy person who eats equal amounts of a food like peanut butter and whole peanuts, more fat is taken from the peanut oil in the butter; then more fat from the peanut butter itself, than from eating the whole peanuts. The reason for this being that the actual nuts provide fibre, fibre blocks the absorption of fat by the body. If you consume a reasonable amount of fibre it will push calories through to your intestines thus stopping the body from absorbing them.

Removing fibre from a diet will enable the ability of your body to literally suck in every last calorie you consume and will of course, result in you putting on weight with every mouthful of food you eat.

Did you also know that fat contains an enzyme which is programmed to to protect you from starving to death. Of course this has a downside in that anytime you lose weight/body fat this enzyme gets on the drums so to speak and sends out an sos message to your brain to that starvation is imminent. In other words your brain tells your body it is hungry and needs food.

You of course respond to your body's hunger and you quickly go find something to eat which is more than likely a high carbohydrate snack; by doing this you are actually blasting your system with sugar thereby creating an over abundance of insulin and creating even more frantic communcation between the same enzyme in the fat which is now telling the brain again you are hungry once more. The brain also slows down calorie burning and increases fat storage at these times which of course just makes the whole situation far worse. It is a real catch 22 situation and the only way you can get on top of it is through eating healthily and avoiding foods high in carbs/sugars/junk food.

Bumping up your intake of fibre will go a long way to helping you solve this problem as the fibre of course will alter your digestive process and reduce the amount of fat absorbed by your body as most of the fat will become part of the fibre you have consumed and will not be digested but will be excreted from you body along with said fibre.

However, all fibre is not equal, in other words, how do you get the right type of fibre and in the correct amounts? Between 40g and 60g of fibre is needed daily to assist in weight management and control. An apple only contains 2g, most leafy green vegetables are also quite low in fibre so they won't really help in the fibre deptartment either. The best way to ensure that you get the correct amount of weight management fibre into your daily diet is to take fibre-supplements. Fibre-supplements are derived from plants but produced in such a way that they can be taken without the need to stuff ourselves with the actual fruit of the plant, eg, eating 20 apples a day UGH!

Using a fibre supplment regularly will definitely help with weightloss and weight management. I cannot stress how effective fibre supplements in provoiding a natural means of prohbiting the absorbtion and increasing the elimination of fat from within.
