Aloe Vera and Complementary Therapies - Educate yourself as to the benefits of alternative and natural therapies

Ever since I started using aloe vera and complementary therapies and experienced first hand the many benefits these alternative treatments offer via a multitude of applications, I admit that I have become an all things aloe vera and complementary therapies convert.

I have therefore, made it my business to keep an ear to the ground so to speak, in order not to miss out any developments or discoveries within this area so as to keep myself informed about any under the radar treatments and dare I say, even cures.

Cure!! Now there is a word that has become almost obsolete in our brave new modern world of big pharma, and big money medicine! Well I suppose if it cannot be patented it cannot be sold for shed loads of money and anyway, no one is interested in promoting cures as of course, the trick is to keep the wealth flowing in through repeat orders otherwise known as prescriptions.

Now I am not saying that medicine has not made some astounding and wonderful discoveries over the last 25 years plus, procedures such as organ transplants for instance have provided new hope to the lives of thousands and that can only be a good thing.

However, there are what I would refer to as “normal” everyday ailments that have always been with us and for which we used to treat ourselves quite successfully, but which are now being exploited as nice little money spinners. Maladies and infirmities such as colds, aches and pains, headaches, mild depression and even some childhood diseases such as measles, chicken pox and mumps.

I remember clearly going to school and two or three classmates would be off sick with one of these diseases, eventually, we would all have a turn and then whatever it was ended for that year and that part of your life was over because you never got it again. Now these childhood sicknesses are referred to in a manner as if they were killer diseases and of course all sorts of expensive treatments, drugs and vaccinations are administered, which in my opinion are likely to cause more illness in the long term than they actually prevent or make better.

In my case the one vaccination we did get at school was the polio vaccine. However, it is now known that that vaccine carried a particular virus known as SV40 that caused cancer and as our generation grew up cancer started to increase.

There are records which show that when many of the tumours were removed and sent for examination it was found they all contained this very same cancer causing SV40 virus that was included in the polio vaccine. This information is available openly on the internet which is how I found out about it myself, having been one of the lucky ones of my generation to survive the cancer (so far anyway) that I was struck down with as young mother of 32.

As none of the female members of my family from my mother up to my great grandmother had ever suffered from breast cancer I certainly did not inherit a breast cancer gene. My great grandmother lived to 98 and all my great aunts lasted well into their 80s and 90s so my sickness was highly unlikely to have been hereditary.

It seems evident to me that someone or some people, somewhere considers ill health is good for the economy as you only have to turn on the television and you will hear the woeful tones of some news reader advising on the state of the health of the nation, obesity is running rampant blah, blah; and it seems like every few weeks there is a new syndrome of some description. Of course for each new health issue, syndrome or whatever label is slapped on it, it is not long before some drug has been developed or adapted to be prescribed for said problem.

I have even very recently received information that a vaccine is being developed for treating depression. Well I don’t know about anyone else but I think I would rather be depressed than be treated with a vaccine as that would likely make me feel even more depressed wondering what type of virus I might be acquiring this time round.

To conclude the use of aloe vera and complementary therapiescan and does enhance our health, I can categorically state that since I have started using these therapies, my health has improved dramatically, I have lost weight, I have more energy, and I sleep soundly.

I really believe that the population in general would benefit greatly by taking the time and trouble to educate themselves as to the benefits that are available via these simple methods instead of allowing themselves become dependent solely upon the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

Aloe Vera and Complementary Therapies

My recipe is simple, good fresh healthy food, vitamins and supplements, only natural treatments when I feel unwell with a headache, cold or similar “normal” infirmity. Having said that, health concerns such as, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes type 2 can also be successfully treated and controlled via the use of aloe vera and complementary therapies.

It is a shame therefore that so many of us seem to ignore these options and often find ourselves taking a concoction which we are advised, we will need to use for the rest of our lives when with a little effort and research we could actually make a few lifestyle changes and regain our good health.

For anyone who may be interested, I have included below an absolutely amazing book about how aloe vera has been successfully put to work in the treatment of cancer. As I myself have suffered from this disease, my interest was immediately caught when I first came across this wonderful book and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who may be looking for alternative treatment possibilities in regard to cancer.
