AloeVera and Candida - Use Aloe to Assist in Combating this Unpleasant Infection
AloeVera and Candida - There is unlikely to be any woman around who has not had the unpleasant experience of the fungal infection known as Candida (thrush). This is a fungal infection which can be caused by a variety of triggers such as diet, stress and the long term use of antibiotics.
Use of hormone replacement therapy and the birth control pill both alter levels of the female hormone which also triggers the onset of Candida. In order for sufferers to overcome Candida it is necessary not only to use prescribed medication but to take into account their eating habits, stress levels, any other medication they may be prescribed and last but not least consider their dietary intake. If a person is consuming foods high in sugar but of little nutritional value then this will only make the situation worse as this type of diet basically feeds the Candida itself.

Once the reason for the Candida attack has been identified the sufferer is then in a position to take the appropriate steps to combat the problem. If for instance the attack has been brought about as a result of a stress related problem then obviously tackling the reason or source of the stress as well as employing some form of stress relief technique, for example meditation or self-hypnosis regime will go a long way to providing a solution in this case.
However, on a practical level they will also need to look at their diet and consider making a few changes, for example; incorporating some of the superfoods into their daily eating plan as this will help to restore the alkaline/acidic balance which has become out of kilter thereby allowing the Candida to flourish. A good probiotic will assist greatly in this situation. However, it is not always certain that the probiotic will make it through the digestive process and this is where the intake of aloe vera can help by reducing the level of acid within the stomach thereby giving the probiotic a better chance of arriving safely at its destination within the gut to rebalance the ecology therein.

Aloe vera has proven that it can play a major role in assisting with this debilitating problem.
Of course there is a lot more to know about Candida itself, for instance there are three types with different health issue concerns. There is Candida albicans which is to be found naturally in the digestive tracts of both humans and animals. This Candida has been found to be responsible for all types of candidiasis. Candida tropicalis – after albicans, this is the most frequently found and plays a major role in causing septicaemia, most notably known to spread candidiasis especially to vulnerable patients who maybe suffering from lymphoma, leukaemia or diabetes. Candida parapsilosis – this can cause skin infections, inflammation of the thin membranous lining of the hearts cavities. It has also been known to cause inflammation of the internal coats of the eye; as well as being responsible for something called fungemia, which is the presence of fungi in the blood. This in turn can lead to a whole list of further unpleasant disease such as flu like symptoms, chronic fatigue, mental health issues etc.
In conclusion therefore, you can appreciate that what we all know as Candida is not as trivial though unpleasant affliction as many may believe and it is therefore vital to have any attack treated both medically as well as taking practical and helpful steps to get the ecological balance in the gut restored as soon as possible. Once again, the use of aloe vera has proven that it can play a major role in assisting with this debilitating problem.
